Miami Art Basel

I was there from Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th December 2007.

Along with friends James Gardner, Drew Cramer and Massimo Cuviello, I went to Miami Art Basel for a few days and nights of sun, sand and art along with half of New York. And the fun!So much to do and see in such a small time, here are my highlights....

On Friday we had lunch with the godfather of modern skateboarding Tony Alva and his girl Katy Rodriguez from the vintage treasure trove Resurrection.That evening Tony performed at Art Positions with some local skate kids and Assume Vivid Astro Focus created the sounds and visions revolving around the 70 ft skate ramp.

That night was the Accompanied Literary Society and Swarovski's party for the launch of the book "The Worth of Art" published by Assouline at the Raleigh.There was dinner and a panel discussion which was then followed by an afterparty, phew!
