sue stemp

English fashion designer Sue Stemp moved to New York from London in1995. After stints at Daryl K and Tocca she began designing her inimitable party dresses for friends, including Kate Moss, subsequently launching her label with a Spring 2006 collection. Sue’s clothes reflect her personal style: feminine silhouettes and tailored sportswear all with a flirty, glamorous, cool. They draw on her passion for color and prints, and are worn by Chloe Sevigny, Kim Gordon and Sophie Dahl amongst others.

The Red Carpet

June 2007

I have just had my first two red carpet moments with a couple of amazing actresses wearing my frocks; both in the same week!

Charlize Theron in Vegas wearing my Ultraviolet Boudoir dress from Fall 07.

Ginny Goodwin at the premiere of HBO's "BigLove" wearing my Kitten dress. Woohoo!
