Nights at Norwood
Friday 30th November and Monday 3rd December 2007
The new members-only arts club, Norwood House on W14th Street has rapidly become my favourite new hang-out. The landmark 4-story mansion, built in 1845, still maintains many of it's original features, but has been re-decorated and designed exquisitely by Simon Costin.I had a couple of really good fun nights there this week, entertaining friends who were in town was the excuse!
Paud Roche and me at Kevin Carrigan's boyfriend's birthday party ( photo by Mark Borthwick!)
My friends Patrick Grant from Saville Row tailors Norton and Sons with British designer James Abbott over from LA.
Photographer Mark Borthwick and Zero designer Maria Cornejo.
A few days later my old friend Amie Witton, London PR girl, was over with new hot shoe designer Jonathan Kelsey. We had dinner in the Norwood restaurant, and James Gardner showed us his napkin folding party trick.....
Me, James Gardner from Createthe, Jonathan Kelsey, Kristen Alexander and Amie Witton-Wallace.
Kristen and Amie paying attention to the folding technique.
Things then went a bit awol with over excitement, and we all ended up at the Beatrice Inn close by.
Kristen, Amie and me.
Oh look natural boys. Kristian Laliberte, James and Jonathan at Beatrice.
Derek Blasberg and Lyle Maltz from Starworks.
